IronPlanet Conducts First Absolute Real Estate Auction
Delaware Property Sells for $1.7 Million

PLEASANTON, Calif. — August 20, 2008 — IronPlanet® (www.ironplanet.com), the world’s leading online auction company for used construction and agricultural equipment, today announced that IronPlanet Real Estate LLC completed its first successful commercial property sale — a $1.7 million unreserved auction held on July 18. 

“The building and land were in excellent shape and sold for a fair price, but without IronPlanet, it wouldn’t have done half as well as it did,” said Ronald Bridge, owner of the property. “When IronPlanet auctioned equipment for me in the past, they did an excellent job of reaching the right buyers to get the best sale price possible, and it was no different when I sold my property.”

Located in a prime commercial and industrial area of Delmar, Del., the auctioned property included more than 5 acres of land and a 15,990-square-foot building with office space, three overhead cranes, several equipment bays and a paint booth. The property also featured a large paved parking area.
